How to read this list

Two kinds of work appear above, and we label them differently on purpose. The Texas stadium boards — Coppell ISD, Keller ISD, and Cedar Hill ISD — were installed by our founder before LPCREATIVE existed. They are here because they are real installations at real venues and they show the scale of work he has done, not because we want to pad a company portfolio with someone else's projects.

Everything in Tennessee is LPLED work: Riverdale High School baseball and softball, Siegel High School baseball, and Smith County High School in Carthage, where an indoor gymnasium board and a soccer field scoreboard are in progress. If a distinction like that matters to you when you are evaluating suppliers — and it should — ask any of them which projects are theirs and which belong to a former employer.

What these installations have in common

Every board above is a full system rather than a panel purchase: the display, the structure holding it, the electrical and data path feeding it, and the control software an operator uses on game night. We build our own scoreboard software for football, basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer, so the display and the thing driving it come from the same place.

That matters most in the middle of a season. A sponsor loop that needs changing, a roster update, different clock behavior for a tournament format — those are ordinary requests, and they should not require a firmware release from a manufacturer three time zones away.

Different sports, genuinely different boards

A football videoboard and a baseball board are not the same product at different sizes. Football is a clock, a score, and a large video window read from a hundred yards away. Baseball carries a batting order, pitch count, balls and strikes, outs, and inning-by-inning line scoring at once, frequently with the sun low behind it. A gym display sits fifteen feet from the front row, where pixel pitch that looks fine outdoors reads as visibly blocky.

Come see one running

Photographs of LED displays are unreliable. A camera meters for the board and blows out the surroundings, or meters for the field and turns the board into a bright rectangle — either way you learn very little about what it looks like from the stands. Our Murfreesboro installations are within an hour of Smithville, and if you are close enough to visit, ask. Standing in front of a working board at the right time of day tells you more than an entire gallery.
